KLMApps releases EatHealthier for iPhone/iPod Touch making healthier eating easy for the rest of us.
Cupertino, CA – July 7, 2011 – KLMApps today announced their first app, EatHealthier, is now available exclusively for iPhone and iPod Touch. EatHealthier is an easy to use serving tracking App and the first to use the straightforward Canada’s Food Guide. With serving goals based simply on age and gender, and easy to understand serving sizes, anyone can make an immediate change for the better. The App enables easy entry of servings, simple serving size lookup, and a graph to chart progress.
EatHealthier starts on the Servings screen where you track what you eat in each of four food groups. Adding servings is as simple as tapping a button. A quick look at the screen makes it easy to adjust what you eat through the day. If the you’re not sure of a serving size, the Serving Size screen has general information for the categories, as well as for specific foods. And switching between metric and standard measurement is a simple tap on the Settings screen.
Once you have been using EatHealthier for a while, use the Graph screen to show trends. This view shows your progress as well as helping you adjust your foods over the long term. Scrolling through data is easy, as is hiding and showing the lines for different food groups.
A Day List screen lets you add days you may have missed. You can also view details of previous days and even modify servings in case you forgot to add something.
In addition to changing a few options, the Settings screen has a built-in video help tour of the App as well as some general information.
“My wife is a Clinical Psychologist who treats many things including eating disorders. When she showed me how simple the Canada Food Guide is, and suggested the App, I could see this was a great way to make a difference.” said Maurice Sharp, Founder of KLMApps. “I knew it could be a hit when I started showing it to friends and even just random people. Everyone I showed it to loved the App and asked when they could buy it.” he said.
EatHealthier is now available for $1.99 in the US, and is priced accordingly in other regions. EatHealthier is available world-wide from Apple’s App Store for iPhone or iPod Touch.
